Engineered Enclosure Features:

 
  • Enclosure structural framework of clear powder coated steel, powder coated aluminum or stainless steel.

  • Clear ceiling and wall panels provide superior interior lighting. Optional clear acrylic, polycarbonate, clear tempered or laminated safety glass available.

  • Ceiling baffle ensures even and efficient fume exhaust.

  • Entry door panels can be horizontal or vertical sliding and can be located on any or all sides.

  • Work surface options include epoxy resin, stainless steel, phenolic resin or plastic laminate. Cutouts for cable ports, plumbing services and sinks are available.

  • Optional inline filtration, glove port access and special lighting and electrical components are available.

  Clean Work Station
Enclosure safely protects equipment, processes or samples from contamination.
  • Cleanliness standards can be maintained between Class 100 and Class 100,000.

  • Optional UV lights, anti-static clear wall panels and grounded frames are available.

  • Laminar flow clean air can be down-drafted through a perforated work surface into a lower plenum to be exhausted or recirculated.

  • Filters conveniently change out from inside whether it is vertical or horizontal laminar flow.

  Hazardous Containment
Enclosure isolates equipment to protect personnel exposure.
  • Enclosure exhaust can connect directly to ventilation or to a dedicated carbon or HEPA system.

  • Design options include top, rear or side exhaust and baffle positions depending on airflow requirements and duct connection locations.

  • Air supply into the enclosure is engineered to meet specific air change specifications. Air inlet door panels, sized for specific velocity or requirements and airflow alarms to monitor volume are available.

  • Door interlocks are available to restrict entry to authorized personnel.

  Environmental Control
Enclosure maintains precise temperature and humidity control.
  • Air handlers for air-conditioning are self-contained or split system and available in air or water cooled models.

  • Temperature environments can be controlled between 60-80 degrees F +/- 1 degree and relative humidity between 20-90 percent +/- 5 percent.

  • Control panels, chart recorders, data loggers and alarm systems are engineered to meet specific environmental requirement.

  • Optional inline filtration, glove port access and special lighting and electrical components are available.
